How fees are determined

The amount of fees varies according to the nature of the service, the complexity of the case, and what is at stake, and is freely determined in agreement with the client.

In accordance with the ethical rules governing the legal profession, a fee agreement will be proposed after the initial meeting. This agreement will specify the tasks to be performed, the billing method chosen, and the payment terms.

You will be regularly informed of the progress of your case and the fees incurred, ensuring full transparency in fee management.

FEES

Several billing options dependent on the specific requirements of each case:

Hourly billing

Fees are calculated based on the actual time spent on the matter, according to a pre-agreed hourly rate.

This includes all tasks necessary to achieve the objectives defined with the client: meetings, phone consultations, correspondence, document review, drafting, court appearances, etc.

Flat fee

A fixed, all-inclusive amount is agreed in advance when the time required to handle the matter can be reasonably estimated.

Success fee

An additional fee, calculated as a percentage of the financial outcome obtained in a court decision or through negotiation, which comes on top of an agreed hourly or flat fee

Subscription

Periodic billing (monthly or quarterly) for ongoing legal support, particularly suited to businesses and employers requiring regular follow-up and legal guidance.

Billed fees are subject to VAT at the applicable rate of 20%.

Legal Expenses Insurance

Individuals may benefit from legal expenses coverage under their insurance policies (such as home, car, or bank insurance). When applicable, such coverage is systematically requested.

Fee Reimbursement and compensation

In litigation, the court may, under Article 700 of the French Code of Civil Procedure, order the opposing party to reimburse all or part of the legal fees and costs incurred.
